End Citizens United Endorses Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin for Georgia Supreme Court

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin for Georgia Supreme Court.

“Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin know firsthand that corruption is hurting Georgia’s families, from an inaccessible health care system to brazen attacks on voting rights,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “Both have dedicated their careers to championing fairness and fighting to make the legal system work for everyone, not just the powerful and wealthy. Georgians know they can trust Jen and Miracle to uphold their rights, stand up to powerful corporate interests, and ensure that every person has a chance to be heard at the ballot box. We are proud to endorse these two leaders for Georgia’s Supreme Court.”

“Georgia communities have faced attempts at voter suppression and legal violations that stem from the outsized influence of special interest groups,” said Jen Jordan. “I’m committed to protecting the constitutional rights of people across our state, which means standing up to corporate greed. Everyone should have the same chance at justice, but right now our system too often answers to the wealthy and powerful. I’m grateful to be endorsed by End Citizens United and to be part of this important work to restore accountability.”

“I’m honored to have the support of End Citizens United, whose work reflects a concern so many Georgians share: that every voice should matter and every person should have confidence that our institutions are fair, “ said Miracle Rankin. “The Supreme Court’s responsibility is not to favor the powerful or the well-connected, but to apply the law faithfully, independently, and impartially in every case. I have spent my career standing with people seeking accountability and fairness, and I would bring that same respect for the law, the Constitution, and the people of Georgia to our state’s highest court.”

Jen Jordan has built a strong record of advocating for communities as an attorney and state senator. She’s taken on corporate polluters and improved the health of communities in Georgia, strengthened protections at the ballot box, and worked toward equal opportunity.

Miracle Rankin has spent her career taking on many of the most powerful actors in Georgia, from insurance companies to other big corporations when they harmed the public. As a recognized leader in Georgia’s legal community, she is prepared to serve on the state’s highest court and use that position to ensure fairness for all.
