ECU Condemns Trump Family’s $5 Billion Payday and GOP Complicity in Corruption

WASHINGTON, DC — Tiffany Muller, president of the anti-corruption group End Citizens United, released the following statement in reaction to news that the Trump family amassed a staggering $5 billion windfall following the launch of their flagship crypto venture on Monday.

“As the Trumps move from one shameless get-rich-quick scheme to another, Republicans in Congress are too busy cashing checks from—and cutting taxes for—their billionaire donors to give a damn,” said ECU President Tiffany Muller. “This staggering one-day, $5 billion windfall is corruption in plain sight, and another reminder that Trump and the Republican Party work for themselves, not working families.”

Muller, a nationally recognized expert on political corruption, is available for comment on this development and the dangerous culture of corruption and self-dealing that has come to define the Trump administration.
