End Citizens United Action Fund Releases Anti-Corruption Scorecard for 119th Congress

WASHINGTON, DC — End Citizens United Action Fund, one of the nation’s leading anti-corruption reform groups, today released its legislative scorecard for the 119th Congress. The scorecard grades members of Congress based on their votes and co-sponsorship of key legislation and procedural actions that would crack down on corruption in Washington, advance campaign finance reform, and protect and expand voting rights.

The full list of members of Congress and their grades is available here.

“The 119th Congress has been nothing short of a disaster for working families. Republicans in both chambers have worked at breakneck speed to deliver on their campaign promises to billionaires and corporate special interests, from massive tax giveaways for the wealthy to rolling back consumer protections and attacking the freedom to vote. There’s no ambiguity that they’re governing for their donors,” said End Citizens United Action Fund President Tiffany Muller. "Democrats have spent this Congress fighting to prevent the most extreme legislation and stop policies that would make it harder for working families to afford health care, put food on the table, or make their voices heard. This scorecard makes clear who is working for everyday Americans and who is working against them.”

Every member of Congress’s grade can be found here. The scorecard is based on several criteria, including cosponsoring the proposed constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United, voting to prevent the SAVE Act from advancing as a restrictive voting measure, and rejecting corporate PAC money. Other criteria focused on protecting American families from historic attempts to weaken consumer and environmental protections, as well as opposing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which amounted to one of the most egregious transfers of wealth from the working class in order to reward GOP megadonors for their support. These grades reflect each member’s commitment to backing tangible reforms and defending against attacks on democracy.
