End Citizens United Endorses Senator Amy Klobuchar for Minnesota Governor

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Senator Amy Klobuchar in the Minnesota gubernatorial race, citing her strong record of fighting corruption in government and defending the freedom to vote.

“Few leaders in America have done more than Senator Klobuchar to address the corruption unleashed by Citizens United,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “She has led the fight in Congress to expose dark money, hold corporations accountable, and make government work for the people. Senator Klobuchar understands that when big money corrupts our politics, hardworking families pay the price, from rising costs to less economic opportunities. She’ll bring that same commitment to Saint Paul and deliver the kind of change that puts people at the center of decision-making. We are proud to endorse her campaign and look forward to helping her become Minnesota’s next governor.”

Throughout her tenure in the Senate, Klobuchar has been a leading voice for reforms to get big money out of politics, increase transparency in elections, and protect access to the ballot box. She has led major democracy reform efforts in Congress, including introducing the Freedom to Vote Act and the Honest Ads Act. Klobuchar has also worked to advance a number of reform bills, including the DISCLOSE Act, the Democracy for All Amendment, the Spotlight Act, the Protect Elections from Deceptive AI Act, and a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. In 2025, Klobuchar received an “A+” on ECU // LAV’s legislative scorecard on anti-corruption and voting rights efforts.
