End Citizens United Endorses Bob Harvie for Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Bob Harvie for Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District. Harvie is part of Unrig Washington, a program launched by ECU for candidates that reject corporate PAC money, support a ban on congressional stock trading, and work to end dark money in politics.

“Bob Harvie understands that the billionaire class has bought Washington and corrupted our policies,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “Working families are left behind, finding fewer opportunities and paying higher prices on everything from health care to groceries. After spending his career advocating for people in Bucks County, Bob is ready to take that fight to Congress. He refuses to take a dime of corporate PAC money to show his commitment to people in the district, and we are proud to endorse him.”

“I’m grateful for the endorsement of End Citizens United,” said Bob Harvie. “Our community deserves a voice in Congress, but Brian Fitzpatrick only answers to his biggest donors. I will make sure the government serves the hard-working people in this district, and that starts with rejecting corporate PAC dollars and supporting ethics reforms. It’s an honor to work with End Citizens United to get money out of our political system, fight for working families, and restore accountability.”

Bob Harvie is deeply rooted in Pennsylvania’s 1st district, from his two decades as a public school teacher to becoming the longest-serving chairman of the Falls Township Board of Supervisors. He is now Chair of the Board of Bucks County Commissioners, where he implements key funding initiatives throughout the region. Harvie is also a member of Unrig Washington, where he joins more than 200 Democratic candidates in rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
