End Citizens United Endorses Christina Hines in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Christina Hines in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District. Hines is part of Unrig Washington, a program launched by ECU in which candidates reject corporate PAC money, support a ban on congressional stock trading, and work to end dark money in politics.

“Christina Hines is the advocate that Michiganders deserve in Congress,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “She knows how to stand up to injustice, and she is ready to take on the powerful corporations that are benefiting immensely off of working people. She is proving her commitment to voters by rejecting corporate PAC money and standing with them on issues that matter to their community. We are proud to endorse Christina and look forward to helping her win this election in November.”

“Working families in Macomb and Oakland Counties are doing everything right and still falling behind, while politicians in D.C. listen to the people writing the biggest checks,” said Christina Hines. “I’m running to change that. I’m grateful for End Citizens United’s endorsement and partnership as we take on the corruption, restore accountability, and build a government that answers to voters, not special interests.”

Christina Hines has been a voice for the most vulnerable members of her community, serving as a prosecutor on sexual assault and child abuse cases. She is stepping up to tackle corruption in Congress after a career of standing up for others in the courtroom. Hines is also part of ECU’s Unrig Washington program, where she joins more than 200 Democratic candidates in rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
