End Citizens United Endorses Harry Dunn for Maryland’s 5th Congressional District

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Harry Dunn for Maryland’s 5th Congressional District. Dunn is part of Unrig Washington, a program launched by ECU in which candidates reject corporate PAC money, support a ban on congressional stock trading, and work to end dark money in politics.

“Harry Dunn is a hero who put his life on the line to protect our democracy,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “He’s running to bring that same commitment to accountability and service to Congress. By refusing corporate PAC money, Harry is setting the standard for the kind of leadership this moment demands and making clear he will answer only to Maryland families, not special interests. We are proud to endorse Harry Dunn and look forward to getting him elected to Congress this November.”

“I’m truly honored to have the endorsement of End Citizens United,” said Harry Dunn. “It’s time to get Big Money out of politics so that public officials work for their constituents, instead of serving the interests of corporations and billionaires. I’m ready to stand up for working families and defend democracy against increasing attacks. I look forward to working with End Citizens United to root out corruption and make Congress work for the people again.”

Harry Dunn served for 15 years as a Capitol Police Officer and was on the front lines defending the Capitol against insurrectionists on January 6th, for which he was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal. He is running for Congress to take on the corruption and special interest influence that threaten our democracy and drive up costs for working families. Dunn is part of ECU’s Unrig Washington program, where he joins hundreds of Democratic candidates in rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
