End Citizens United Endorses Lauren Babb Tomlinson for California’s 6th Congressional District

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Lauren Babb Tomlinson in California’s 6th Congressional District. Babb Tomlinson is part of Unrig Washington, a program launched by ECU in which candidates reject corporate PAC money, support a ban on congressional stock trading, and work to end dark money in politics.

“Lauren Babb Tomlinson knows it’s past time we raise the standard in Washington and make government work for the people,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “She has a proven record of standing up for Californians and is ready to bring that same fight to Congress. Lauren rejects corporate PAC money, proving her loyalty to her constituents rather than special interests, and is fully committed to accountability. We are proud to endorse her and look forward to helping her win in November.”

“It’s an honor to have the endorsement of End Citizens United,” said Lauren Babb Tomlinson. “Working families are facing a cost of living crisis because corrupt Republicans cater to their corporate friends instead of fighting for their constituents. Nobody should have to worry about affording health care and raising a family, which is why I’m running to represent our district in Congress. I look forward to working with End Citizens United so that the government can serve the people, not the highest bidder.”

Lauren Babb Tomlinson has fought for health care access and systemic fairness through roles at Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte and the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls. She is committed to rooting out corruption so that corporations and billionaires stop gouging people on the prices of groceries, utilities, and other everyday needs. Babb Tomlinson is also part of ECU’s Unrig Washington program, where she joins more than 200 Democratic candidates in rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
