ECU Congratulates Jon Ossoff on Officially Securing Democratic Nomination in Georgia Senate Race

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating ECU-endorsed Senator Jon Ossoff on officially securing the Democratic nomination in Georgia’s Senate race:

“Whether it’s his refusal to take corporate PAC money or his leadership in the fight to ban congressional stock trading, Senator Jon Ossoff has always backed up his words with action. From his first day in office, Senator Ossoff has consistently stood up to billionaires and corporations to do what’s right for Georgia families. He has become the top target of those same special interests because he’s one of the most effective leaders in Washington at exposing the truth about how corruption in Congress is driving up costs and rigging the economy for the wealthy and well-connected. We are proud to stand with Senator Ossoff in this fight and look forward to helping him win in November.”

ECU endorsed Senator Jon Ossoff last year. He has been a champion of anti-corruption reforms, introducing the Ban Corporate PACs Act and leading the charge to ban congressional stock trading. He received the highest rating, an A+, on ECU’s 2026 Anti-Corruption Scorecard for his commitment to representing voters instead of billionaires and greedy special interests. Cracking down on corruption has been a central message in his campaign, including in his recent ad about why the government is failing ordinary people. Senator Ossoff is part of ECU’s Unrig Washington program, where he joins more than 200 Democratic candidates in rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
