PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Juliana Stratton on Senate Win in Illinois

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Senator-elect Juliana Stratton’s victory in Illinois:

“Congratulations to Senator-elect Juliana Stratton. She ran this campaign the right way by rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and calling out dark money with the over 300 Democrats who joined Unrig Washington. Voters rewarded her message of taking on the corruption in Washington that has fueled the cost of living crisis. We look forward to working with her as she heads to the Senate to clean up a broken system.”

ECU endorsed Stratton in November 2025, citing her strong commitment to rooting out corruption in government. Her refusal to take corporate PAC money became a defining message of the campaign and helped draw a powerful contrast with her opponents. ECU hosted a live Substack conversation with Stratton in February, where she discussed her reform agenda and campaign priorities. ECU President Tiffany Muller also spoke at a Stratton campaign rally in Chicago right before the primary, alongside Senator Elizabeth Warren.
