PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Zach Dembo on Winning in Kentucky’s 6th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Zach Dembo’s victory:

“Congratulations to Representative-elect Zach Dembo on a huge victory tonight. He flipped this seat by listening to voters and exposing how Republican politicians have been selling them out to special interests. Working families in Kentucky demanded change, and tonight they got it. We’re proud he was one of the 300 No Corporate PAC Democrats who joined Unrig Washington this cycle, and we are excited to work with him to root out corruption.”

ECU endorsed Rep.-elect Zach Dembo and made an investment in digital ads to help elect him in this critical race. ECU President Tiffany Muller hosted a town hall with him in Lexington about getting money out of politics in October. He also joined the Unrig Washington program alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
