PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Bob Brooks on Winning in PA-07

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Bob Brooks’ victory:

“Congratulations to Representative-elect Bob Brooks on a big win. He ran on a simple promise to take on the pay-to-play culture in Washington and fight for a government that serves people, not special interests. Voters heard him and showed up. He’s going to become a critical part of the movement to root out corruption and bring down costs. We’re proud he was one of over 300 No Corporate PAC Democrats who joined Unrig Washington, and we’re excited to work with him in Congress.”

ECU endorsed Rep.-elect Bob Brooks and made an investment in digital ads supporting him ahead of the election. ECU President Tiffany Muller also kicked off a day of canvassing for him the weekend before the election. He joined the Unrig Washington program, alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
