End Citizens United Endorses Scott Colom for U.S. Senate in Mississippi

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Scott Colom for U.S. Senate in Mississippi. Colom has a record of cracking down on corruption as a district attorney and supports ethics reforms like banning congressional stock trading.

His Anti-Corruption Plan also includes strengthening watchdog agencies, protecting whistleblowers, and passing legislation to overturn Citizens United. As District Attorney for the 16th Judicial District of Mississippi, he uncovered a corruption scheme in a local sheriff's office that led to federal bribery charges. He is running against Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who has faced multiple campaign finance scandals, voted against cracking down on foreign money in politics, and takes hundreds of thousands of dollars from special interest donors.
