End Citizens United Endorses New York Attorney General Letitia James for Reelection
End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed New York Attorney General Letitia James for reelection. AG James is on the front lines defending the freedom to vote and standing up to Donald Trump’s corruption.
“There is no attorney general who better understands the corruption of Donald Trump and his cronies than Attorney General Letitia James,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “She is a dedicated public servant who takes on powerful special interests and stands strong in defending New Yorkers’ rights. Even in the face of political retribution and personal threats made by Trump, Attorney General James has never wavered from doing what’s right and holding power to account. We are proud to endorse her and look forward to helping her get reelected this year.”
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of End Citizens United,” said New York Attorney General Letitia James. “Corruption is running rampant, with bought-and-paid-for politicians allowing corporations to gouge people for profit. I’m committed to cracking down on special interests that are responsible for the affordability crisis and drowning out the will of our voters. I’m grateful for the partnership of End Citizens United and look forward to continuing to advocate for a government that truly works for New Yorkers.”
Letitia James has dedicated her career to serving communities in New York, from working as a public defender to serving on the City Council to her tenure as Attorney General. She is a leader in holding big corporations accountable for monopolistic behavior, including spearheading the coalition of 40 state attorneys general who secured a major win for consumers in an antitrust case against Live Nation this year. She led a successful lawsuit that found the Trump Organization liable for fraud in 2024, and she refused to cave when the Trump administration filed a vengeful lawsuit against her the next year. Attorney General James has also been a champion for working families across New York, backing policies that crack down on greedy corporations and help to lower costs.
