PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates Bob Brooks on Democratic Primary Victory in Pennsylvania’s 7th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating ECU-endorsed Bob Brooks on winning the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District:

“Congratulations to Bob Brooks on his primary victory. Bob ran on lowering costs, taking on corruption, and promising to end the pay-to-play culture that has become normalized in Washington. That message helped him get through the primary and will be crucial to flipping this seat in November. We’re proud to support him because we know he’ll work for his constituents, not the special interests.”

ECU endorsed Bob Brooks in March. Brooks has announced a comprehensive agenda to lower costs by rooting out corruption and countering greedy industry price hikes. In the week before the primary, ECU President Tiffany Muller helped expose outside spending against the Brooks campaign by the shadowy dark money MAGA organization Lead Left. Brooks is also part of ECU’s Unrig Washington program, where he joins more than 200 Democratic candidates in rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
