End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating ECU-endorsed State Auditor Rob Sand on securing the Democratic nomination in Iowa’s gubernatorial election:

His commitment to putting working families over special interests has been clear at every step in his career, and voters know they can trust him to champion real reform. We are proud to have endorsed Rob and look forward to helping him win in November.”

ECU endorsed Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand in May 2025. During his time as State Auditor, Sand uncovered more waste in a single term than any other Auditor in the state’s history—including more than $29 million in misspent money—and held politicians from both parties accountable. Sand also created the Public Innovations and Efficiencies program (PIE) that rewarded local cities, counties, and school districts for improving their efficiency efforts.
