PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Jamie Ager on Winning in North Carolina’s 11th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Jamie Ager’s victory:

“Congratulations to Representative-elect Jamie Ager on flipping a Republican district. His campaign focused on how North Carolina families have been victims of government corruption. Whether it was the rising cost of living or the delays in Helene recovery, he made the case that Republican politicians prioritize their donors over their constituents. Rep.-elect Ager is headed to Congress to fight for the people who sent him there, as one of over 300 No Corporate PAC Democrats who joined Unrig Washington. We can’t wait to work with him.”

Rep.-elect Jamie Ager was endorsed by ECU and joined Unrig Washington alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics. Rep.-elect Ager is ready to take on corruption and fight for ethics reform so that the government works for the people, not wealthy special interests. As a fourth-generation farmer, he knows the everyday impact of failed policy and will stand up for working people across the district.
