End Citizens United Endorses Brad Lander in New York’s 10th Congressional District

End Citizens United (ECU), a leading national anti-corruption organization, today endorsed Brad Lander in New York’s 10th Congressional District. Lander is also joining ECU’s Unrig Washington program for candidates who reject corporate PAC money, support a ban on congressional stock trading, and work to end dark money in politics.

“Brad Lander is a proven leader who understands the struggles and barriers working families are facing,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “He’s running his campaign the right way by rejecting corporate PAC money and making it clear that his votes are not for sale. Brad Lander has spent decades fighting for everyday people in New York, from leading nonprofits focused on affordable housing and job training to serving as Comptroller of New York City. He also served on the City Council, where he pursued systemic reform by authoring the Independent Expenditure Disclosure Act to increase transparency among super PACs and sponsoring legislation to enact ranked-choice voting. He has taken on the biggest special interests when they have tried to gouge New Yorkers, and he was instrumental in forcing Elon Musk to return $80 million that he took from New York City taxpayers. Lander has also proved his accountability to the people by refusing to take corporate PAC money throughout his career.
