ECU Congratulates JoAnna Mendoza on Securing the Democratic Nomination in Arizona’s 6th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating ECU-endorsed JoAnna Mendoza on securing the Democratic nomination in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District:

“Congratulations to JoAnna Mendoza. She is a real champion for Arizona families who understands that holding politicians accountable is a first step toward every other reform, from lowering the cost of living to preventing gun violence. There’s no better person to kick Juan Ciscomani out of office and start working to clean up our government. We’re proud to support JoAnna and look forward to helping her win in November.”

ECU endorsed JoAnna Mendoza in April, citing her decades of military service and advocacy for Arizona communities. ECU President Tiffany Muller also spoke alongside Mendoza during a Tucson panel about how corruption is undermining public safety and driving up the cost of living for Arizonans. Mendoza’s Republican opponent, Juan Ciscomani, is on ECU’s 2026 Most Corrupt Politicians List because he has taken large donations from people who had a direct stake in his legislative activity. In stark contrast to that corruption, Mendoza puts people over donors and refuses to simply do the bidding of special interests.
