PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates Christina Hines on Winning the Democratic Primary in Michigan’s 10th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating ECU-endorsed Christina Hines on winning the Democratic primary in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District:

“Congratulations to Christina Hines on winning her primary. Michiganders turned out for her because they know she can’t be bought — she's refusing corporate PAC money, she’s committed to taking on the special interests, and she’s ready to root out the corruption driving up costs for families. That's the kind of fighter Michigan needs in Congress. We’re proud to be supporting Christina and look forward to helping her win in November.”

ECU endorsed Christina Hines in May, describing her as someone who knows how to stand up to injustice. She is stepping up to tackle corruption in Congress after a career of standing up for others in the courtroom. Hines has also joined ECU’s Unrig Washington program, alongside more than 260 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
