PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Rebecca Bennett on Winning in New Jersey’s 7th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Rebecca Bennett’s victory:

“Congratulations to Representative-elect Rebecca Bennett on a hard-fought, well-deserved win,” said End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller. “Voters were demanding new leadership, and she earned their trust by promising to tackle corruption and put them first. She refused corporate PAC money alongside over 300 Democrats on Unrig Washington, she divested her individual stocks, and she committed to helping end dark money in elections. We can’t wait to see the incredible work she'll accomplish as a member of Congress.”

ECU endorsed Rep.-elect Rebecca Bennett, who put fighting corruption in government and getting Big Money out of politics at the center of her campaign. ECU President Tiffany Muller held a press conference with her in October, focusing on ending congressional stock trading. Rep.-elect Bennett also joined Unrig Washington alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics. ECU also named Tom Kean Jr. to its 2026 Most Corrupt Politicians List.
