PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Bob Harvie on Winning in Pennsylvania’s 1st District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Bob Harvie’s victory:

“Congratulations to Representative-elect Bob Harvie on flipping this critical seat. Pennsylvania voters know Washington has stopped working for them. They trust him to crack down on the influence of special interests because he hasn’t taken any corporate PAC money, alongside the over 300 Democrats who joined Unrig Washington. His platform centered on tackling a rigged system, and he will be an important champion in Congress for reining in corruption. We’re proud to stand with Rep.-elect Harvie and look forward to working with him in the coming years.”

Rep.-elect Bob Harvie was endorsed by ECU and was joined by ECU the weekend before the election for a canvass launch, campaigning on his commitment to get money out of politics. He was also a member of Unrig Washington alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
