PRESS RELEASE

End Citizens United Congratulates Nevada Lieutenant Governor-Elect Sandra Jauregui on Victory

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Lieutenant Governor-elect Sandra Jauregui’s victory in Nevada:

“Congratulations to LG-elect Sandra Jauregui on her victory. She’s going to help set a new standard for leadership in the Nevada government by putting everyday people first and cracking down on the outsized influence of special interests. Her campaign was all about holding the powerful accountable, and we look forward to working with her to do that in Carson City.”

ECU endorsed LG-elect Sandra Jauregui because she has stood up to powerful interests as a state assemblymember, from cracking down on private equity buying up homes to taking on big corporations trying to raise costs on Nevada families. Her platform focused on ending the MAGA culture of corruption. Her opponent had been found guilty of violating ethics laws and faced allegations of using taxpayer-funded staff and official media to promote his own financial interests.
