PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Brian Poindexter on Winning in Ohio’s 7th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Brian Poindexter’s impressive win:

“We are thrilled to congratulate Representative-elect Brian Poindexter on flipping this seat. Ohioans are sick and tired of watching politicians sell out to huge corporations at their expense. Rep.-elect Poindexter is responding to that problem by refusing corporate PAC money, focusing on getting costs down instead of catering to corporate interests, and championing the Unrig Washington agenda to crack down on corruption. We’re proud to stand with him and look forward to working with him in Congress.”

ECU endorsed Rep.-elect Brian Poindexter, held an anti-corruption town hall with him in Parma, and hosted him for a live Substack interview about getting money out of politics. He joined Unrig Washington alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics.
