PRESS RELEASE

ECU Congratulates No Corporate PAC Candidate Kristina Knickerbocker on Winning Ohio’s 10th District

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement celebrating ECU-endorsed Representative-elect Kristina Knickerbocker’s victory:

“Representative-elect Kristina Knickerbocker secured this enormous win tonight by making it clear she’ll be accountable to voters, not special interests. Throughout the campaign, she talked about getting corporate influence out of politics and restoring a government that serves everyday Ohioans. Voters rewarded that promise because they are ready for a representative who will work to unrig the billionaire economy and tackle corporate greed. We’re proud she’s one of over 300 No Corporate PAC Democrats who joined Unrig Washington, and we're excited to partner with her to bring change to Congress.”

ECU endorsed Rep.-elect Kristina Knickerbocker and hosted a canvass launch with her in Middletown the week before the election. She also joined Unrig Washington alongside more than 300 Democratic candidates committed to rejecting corporate PAC money, supporting a ban on congressional stock trading, and cracking down on dark money in politics. On the campaign trail, Rep.-elect Knickerbocker repeatedly spoke out about the corrupt health care system that has been devastating for Ohio families.
